What does elevator maintenance include?
Elevator maintenance means scheduled visits by a qualified technician who inspects and adjusts the motor, doors, control cabinet and safety systems, checks oil and filters, and replaces worn parts before they fail. After each inspection you receive a written report, and an updated inspection sticker is placed in the cabin.
Do you provide 24/7 emergency elevator service?
Yes. Our technical team responds to breakdowns and trapped-passenger calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, carries spare parts for on-site repairs and follows a safe evacuation procedure. The guaranteed response time depends on your contract — from 24 hours on Base Care down to 1 hour on Industrial Premium.
Where does WestLift provide elevator service?
Our office is in Batumi (Meskheti St. N25), so we cover Batumi and the wider Adjara region — including Gonio and Tsikhisdziri — directly. We have also completed projects in Tbilisi, Gori, Zugdidi and Gudauri. For buildings elsewhere in Georgia, contact us and we will confirm how we can schedule service visits.
Which maintenance contract is right for my building?
We offer three service packages. Base Care includes monthly preventive visits and suits standard residential buildings. Business Support adds twice-monthly visits and priority response for shopping centres and busy warehouses. Industrial Premium, with weekly technical audits, is designed for hotels, hospitals and industrial sites. Standard contracts run for 12 months, and one-off service visits are also available.
Who is responsible for elevator maintenance in Georgia?
Responsibility lies with the owner of the elevator — usually the building owner or, in apartment buildings, the homeowners' association. The owner has to keep the lift safe to use and have it serviced and inspected regularly, which in practice means hiring a qualified maintenance company. We can take on that role and provide the reports and documents you need.
What happens if a problem is found during an inspection?
Minor faults are fixed on the spot during the visit. If a larger repair or a part replacement is needed, we explain the diagnosis, give you our recommendations and agree the work with you before it starts. For ageing equipment we may also suggest modernization as a longer-term solution.
