Ideal For
Home lift without a shaft for 2–3 floors
In a house with two or three floors, a home lift does not always need a conventional brick or concrete shaft. Depending on the model, it can run in a self-supporting metal-and-glass shaft that stands on the floor slab, inside the house or on the facade, and some low-pit models need only a shallow recess in the floor instead of a deep pit.
Whether your house can do without a masonry shaft depends on the model, the floor slab, the headroom on the top floor and the space for the opening. We check this on site before recommending a solution. Our home lifts carry 250, 320 or 400 kg at 0.3–0.4 m/s.
